The Left Book Club was founded in 1936 to oppose war, inequality and fascism. It helped bring Labour to power in 1945. Join us today and support political education.
For February we're very excited to be publishing Class Power on Zero Hours by the AngryWorkers collective.
“We wanted to pay more than just lip service to the classic slogan, ‘the emancipation of the working classes must be conquered by the working classes themselves.'" AngryWorkers, a small political collective, have spent six years organising in London’s industrial backyard, mainly in the food manufacturing and logistics sector. This book is about their experiences. It is a call for an independent working class organisation.
Due to delays at our printer, books are being posted a little later than usual. They should be dropping through letterboxes in the latter half of February.

Due to the fact that the UK has left the EU, and because the deal that was made is not clearly defined, we're experiencing some problems with post to the EU. There are various extra costs, including new VAT charges. Please be aware that if you are an EU-based subscriber, you may have to pay extra charges to receive your book. We're really sorry. This is a massive problem for many UK-based small organisations such as ourselves. We are working hard to figure out what the charges are so that we can include these in the price we charge you, but because each country is different this is taking a lot of time. We hope that you will bear with us.
On 11th February we were delighted to be joined by Gargi Bhattacharyya for the second session in our hugely popular 'Who's Afraid of Anticapitalism?' series.
This time we explored the theme of Love and anticapitalism with special guests Sophie K. Rosa and Joshua Virasami.
